Even if you can cooperate with temporary protection at home, etc., please contact us about the type of dog and cat, the characteristics such as hair color, and the place where it was protected.

From Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 5:00 pm (excluding holidays and holidays, from December 29 to January 3)

1.Dogs and cats will eventually be housed at the Yokohama Animal Protection Center. If the owner is not known, we will transfer it to the new owner as much as possible, unless you are in poor health or are unfamiliar with humans.
2.After pick-up, we do not answer the condition of individual animals. Thank you for your understanding.

Except in the following cases, please temporarily protect and contact the ward office Health Sanitation Division at the time of opening or consult your nearest "Koban" (police box) or police department.
（1） When a released dog is at risk of harm to a person
（2） If a lost dog or cat needs immediate treatment due to severe injury, etc.※
※We will adjust the nearest acceptable facilities, so we ask for your cooperation in transporting to the designated facilities.
