Does the person receiving welfare join The Long-term Care Insurance?

It depends on the age of the person and the status of enrollment in medical insurance.
・65 years or older
I will be insured by The Long-term Care Insurance as the first insured person. Long-term Care Insurance Premium is financed by social security.
・If you are between 40 and 65 years old and have medical insurance
If you have medical insurance such as employee health insurance, you will have medical insurance at the same time, and Long-term Care Insurance Premium will be collected together with medical insurance premiums.
・If you are between 40 and 65 and do not have medical insurance
If you do not have medical insurance such as employee health insurance, you will not be able to join The Long-term Care Insurance. If you need nursing care (support required) due to a specific illness specified in The Long-term Care Insurance, social security will be able to receive services equivalent to The Long-term Care Insurance withoutThe Long-term Care Insurance.
