Can I get on the municipal bus with the stroller open?

You can get on the bus. Please check the Transportation Bureau website for details on how to ride and precautions.

Put the stroller's seat belt on your child and tell the crew that you will be riding with the stroller open.
If you cannot get on from the front door, you can also get on from the middle door (get off door).
In the car, the customer must stop the stroller in the direction of travel at the designated location in the direction of travel, be sure to lock the tire, and secure it with the provided belt. For safety, be sure to support the stroller while driving.
→In the following cases, we may ask you to fold the stroller and ride it. Thank you for your cooperation.
・When the inside of the car is crowded
・When it cannot be fixed with a belt
・If a passenger using a wheelchair or two-seater stroller is on board.
・When two fixed belts for strollers have already been used.
(There may be up to one car depending on the type of vehicle.)
・A size that cannot secure a passage
※If you wish to use the service, the crew will ask the passengers in the car to cooperate so that they can sit as much as possible.

From November 1, 2020, all routes can be boarded with children on a two-seater stroller.

・Items larger than the width of the door (small bus about 80cm, large bus about 100cm)
・Vehicles not equipped with wheels stoppers and seat belts
・When getting on and off from a bus stop on a steep slope
・A stroller with three or more passengers
