Is it possible to use a municipal transportation commuter pass to go to a free school?
Last updated on June 3, 2022.
If you go to a free school using the municipal subway, ask the Transportation Bureau to issue a commuter pass by submitting a document called "Application for the Release of a commuter pass for practical training" from the elementary, junior high and high schools you are enrolled in. Please contact Transportation Bureau from your school.
If you go to a free school using a municipal bus, or if you are an elementary or junior high school, you can purchase a commuter pass by presenting your identity verification document (health insurance card, student ID card, etc.) that shows your date of birth. If you are a high school student, you can purchase a commuter pass by presenting your school certificate or student ID after confirming that your high school is certified by Transportation Bureau. For confirmation of a certified school, please contact Transportation Bureau from your school.
