Individual support class (special support class) is a small class for learning according to the state and degree of disability of each child.
In Yokohama, all municipal elementary, middle and compulsory education schools have established individual support classes for intellectual disabilities, autism and emotional disorders, and low vision. (Individual support classes for "amblyopia" are set up only at schools where the target child is enrolled.)
