What is a classroom instruction class?
The classroom instruction classroom is a place where children with mild disabilities who are enrolled in general classes at elementary and junior high schools receive special guidance according to the disability.
Eligible children go to the school where a classroom instruction classroom is set up and receive guidance.
※In Yokohama City, the use of elementary school classroom instruction classroom must be accompanied by a guardian.
Children who are eligible for the classroom instruction class

| Deafness | Children who have hearing impairment, can generally study in the general class, and need guidance according to the hearing situation in some parts. |
| Language | Children who can generally study in general classes and have communication issues such as dysnoring disorders and stuttering. |
| Low vision | Children who have visual impairment, can generally study in general classes, and need guidance tailored to the visual situation in some parts. |
Emotional (emotional disorder, LD/ADHD) | General intellectual development is higher than standard, but children who have problems in communication and behavior due to developmental disabilities, etc., or who have difficulty adapting to school life due to imbalance in development. |
When you want to use a classroom instruction class
First of all, consultation at the Special Support Education Center is required, so please submit a consultation application form.
※If you are a new school student, you will be required to submit it to the school if you have already enrolled.
※Depending on the situation of the classroom instruction classroom, you may have to wait until the start of use. As a general rule, it will be used from the next fiscal year.
