1 Is it true that smoking cessation treatment costs are cheaper than tobacco? !
That's true.
The cause of continuing smoking is the brain disease called nicotine addiction. Therefore, you can use medicines or receive treatment at a medical institution to quit smoking. Non-smoking treatment is covered by insurance if conditions are met. The standard treatment program is 12 weeks. Drugs that support smoking cessation (smoking cessation aids) and professional smoking cessation treatment have been found to increase the success rate by 3 to 4 times compared to smoking cessation on their own.
If you are worried that the treatment cost is high, in fact, tobacco costs are more expensive.

2 Is it true that heated cigarettes are also bad for your body?
That's true.
Recently, the number of people who care about their bodies and change from cigarettes to heated cigarettes (cigarettes designed to heat them without burning tobacco leaves, inhaling nicotine, and absorb them from the lungs) is increasing. However, heated tobacco is also known to contain harmful substances such as carcinogens, so the risk of tobacco-related diseases may increase. In addition, since it absorbs nicotine, it becomes nicotine dependence and is difficult to quit smoking, so it is not effective to change from cigarettes to heated cigarettes as a smoking cessation process.

3 Is the smoke of cigarettes really PM2.5?
That's true.
PM2.5 refers to very small particles (microparticulate matter) with a particle size of 2.5 μm or less among small particles suspended in the atmosphere. It is generated by the burning of grass, wood, and fossil fuels. Tobacco smoke is also typical PM2.5.
Because PM2.5 is a very small particle, it easily penetrates deep into the lungs and causes inflammation of the lungs and the whole body. As a result, it has been found that mortality from respiratory and cardiovascular diseases increases in areas with high PM2.5 concentrations.

6 Really say, "If you quit smoking, your immunity will recover and you will be less susceptible to infectious diseases." ! !
That's true.
The background is not yet sufficiently clear, but nicotine itself suppresses the division of T cells (cytotic immunity from lymphocytes), changes in the condition of cytokines and prone to inflammation, changes in the balance of the immune system and changes in Th2.
In other words, a change in the balance of the immune system can make it more susceptible to infection and inflammation, resulting in a condition such as pneumonia.
Respiratory symptoms such as coughs and wheezing improve at least one month after smoking cessation. In addition, immune function recovers, making it less susceptible to infections such as colds and flu.
