Collaboration with Yokohama FC

In July 2018, Hodogaya Ward, Yokohama FC (Yokohama Frie Sports Club Co., Ltd.), Hodogaya Ward Association Neighborhood Association Liaison Committee and Hodogaya Ward Shopping Street Federation signed a basic agreement to further foster the attachment of residents to Yokohama FC and further enhance the appeal of the ward.

In July 2010, Yokohama FC opened the Yokohama FC LEOC Training Center at the Nishiya Water Purification Plant under the jurisdiction of City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau.
In the wake of that, we hold the first about Kumagaya inhabitant of a ward DAY on Sunday, September 19, 2010 and hold once a year thereafter.
In 2024, the event was held on Sunday, August 10, against V. Far Ren Nagasaki.
Every year, the Hodogaya Ward booth is opened by shops in Hodogaya Ward, and ward-only events are held.

It has been held since 2021 as a collaborative project between Hodogaya Ward Shopping Street, Yokohama FC and Hodogaya Ward.
This is a quiz rally that derives keywords by posting questions about the shopping street, Yokohama FC, or Hodogaya Ward at stores in the shopping street and collecting answers.
It is a popular project every year with goods from shopping streets and Yokohama FC.

In fiscal 2024, we started a soccer class for children living and studying in Hodogaya Ward.
It was a valuable opportunity not only to be held on the grounds of Nishiya where players usually practice, but also to interact with Yokohama FC players.
In 2024, it was a great success with Etsu Yamane and Akinori Ichikawa participating.

As a collaborative project between the shopping street in Hodogaya Ward, Yokohama FC and Hodogaya Ward, we have posted flags on street lights.

As a new initiative starting in fiscal 2024, Yokohama FC players became Director General Hodogaya one day to promote both Yokohama FC and Hodogaya Ward.
The first memorable event was Katsuya Iwatake, who was appointed to promote the quiz rally held at the same time.
