Sir ☆What is Genki Village?
Utilizing precious paddy fields that remain in Hodogaya Ward, we encourage local volunteers to play an active role.
We are making rice and vegetables with our children.
There are plenty of events such as rice planting and Harvest festival throughout the year!
The details of the activities are moderated. ☆Please see Genki Village "Homepage" (outside site).

Farming experience in precious rice fields in Hodogaya Ward! Learn the importance of food while touching the blessings of nature through rice making and harvesting vegetables!

Schedule 13 times a year (about once a month from April, in principle Saturday) ※Changed
[Contents] Throughout the year, you will experience farming at that time, such as making rice and vegetables.
Time From 9:30 to 12:00 ※Changed
[Main Activities] Sir ☆Genki Village Farm (1098 Kawajima-cho) 7-minute walk from Nishiya Station on the Sotetsu Line
[Target] Elementary school 4th to 6th graders (as of April 2025) Those who live or attend school in Hodogaya Ward and can participate all times in principle.
[Capacity] 40 people (lottery if there are many applicants)
[Expenses] 2,500 yen (including premium, crop harvesting experience fee, etc.) ※I will collect it for the first time.

[Recruiting in FY2025] Sir ☆Genki Village "Executive Committee (Volunteer) Recruitment Briefing Session"
Under the guidance of farmers in paddy fields in Hodogaya Ward, they conduct rice planting and harvesting throughout the year with elementary school children.
We raise "Homogaya ☆ Genkimura executive committee" performing local contribution activity such as Hama Road supporter!

Schedule Saturday, March 8 and Saturday, March 15
※In principle, please participate on both days.
Time Both are from 9:30 to 12:00.
[Place] Saturday, March 8 201 meeting room on the second floor of the ward office (2-9 Kawabe-cho) 2-minute walk from Hoshikawa Station on the Sotetsu Line
On Saturday, March 15th ☆Genki Village Farm (1098 Kawajima-cho) 7-minute walk from Nishiya Station on the Sotetsu Line
[Target] High school students and above who are interested in agriculture, exchange with children, and community activities
[Expenses] Free of charge ※Those who become executive committee members at the end of the briefing will be charged separately dues (including insurance premiums).
