Hodogaya Public Works Office manages about 160 nearby parks in the city. These parks provide greenery and are not only used as playgrounds for children, but can also be used for local events such as festivals.
In most parks, volunteer organizations called the Park Protection Association have been formed and are engaged in activities such as cleaning.
