We held "gathering of inhabitant of a ward" in 2024!

　When the curtain opened, a woodworking song resonated throughout the venue, and the “50th Anniversary Ceremony, Gathering of Residents” began. In Part 1 ceremony, we received a 50th anniversary congratulatory message from Mayor Director General, Mayor Kambe and Chairman Kaneko Wardren.
　Listening to the beautiful harmony of the "Song Choir of the Magagaya Ward", we will continue to send it to the inhabitants of the ward with the elaborate whole, local gatherings, and announcements of each subcommittee in the second part. Refreshing with "Blue Light Yokohama Gymnastics" and finally "Yokohama Minato wadaiko" appears. I was impressed by the performance of wadaiko that roared at the venue, and it ended successfully.

　From 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024, we will hold a ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Hodogaya Residents' Conference and a "Gathering of Residents" in 2024 at Hodogaya public hall.
　We report as a whole inhabitant of a ward meeting and activity report from five subcommittees of environment, education, traffic, disaster, welfare, and report about suggestion, request issued in "local gathering" of this year.
　In addition, concerts (choirs and performances by wadaiko) and "food drive," "waste cooking oil collection," and "evening market" are held at the entrance of public hall.
　Admission is free and no application is required, so please come and visit us.

◇Food drive (12:30-13:30)
This is an activity to collect food that has not been used up at home and deliver it to facilities and people who need food.
<Foods that can be donated>
　〇 Canned food, retort food, instant meals, etc.
　〇 Unopened one
　〇 Foods with a shelf life of 2 months or more
<Foods that cannot be donated>
　X Fresh food, bento, and leftover food
　X Foods whose expiration date has expired
　X Foods with no expiration date.

◇Collection of waste cooking oil (from 12:30 to 13:30)
Collecting waste cooking oil (such as used tempura oil) leads to a reduction in combustible waste and a reduction in carbon dioxide. It can also be recycled into environmentally friendly fuels.
<Recoverable oil> Used and expired vegetable oils
<How to bring your own> Put it in a plastic bottle and close the lid tightly so that it does not leak.
　※Make sure that water does not enter as much as possible. If the expiration date is not used, it can be collected as it is.

◇Fresh local vegetable "Yuichi" (after the end)
Every year! We sell fresh vegetables of Kawajima-cho local farmer "Nanairohata".
