We submit statement of position about hearing result of each ward office jurisdiction office work

Since January 2016, the Izumi Ward Regional Council has been conducting interviews with Family Registry Division, Children and Families Support Division School Cooperation and Children, and Life Support Division.

The affairs of each section were important for the inhabitants of the ward and their improvement, and were generally executed well.

At the regular meeting on May 26, Chairman Kitahara submitted a written opinion to Mayor Shimomura on behalf of 24 committee members (two in each district).

About hearing result of each ward office section jurisdiction office work (summary of statement of position)

1 Family Registry Division

(About my number card grant office work)

・ resident certificate and other convenience stores will begin next year using My Number Card. We want you to push forward my number card grant office work steadily for service start.

(Invention of window response)

・ Efforts have been made to reduce the time required for procedures, such as by arranging counters related to the same floor. One of the factors that takes time at the counter is that the residents are not familiar with various notifications and certifications. We want you to push forward approach such as publicity in public information and guidance by floor service staff more.

(Utilization of house number display boards)

・ The house number display board, which is handed over to residents in the residential area, is highly convenient for us to ensure smooth confirmation of the Address when we proceed with local activities. We would like you to respond more aggressively so that you can check the presence or absence of a house number display when transferring to Address.

2 Children and Families Support Division School Cooperation and Children

(Implementation of organizational reform)

・ In fiscal 2015, the elementary school student-based development program moved from Regional Promotion Division to Children and Families Support Division. This is to promote "uninterrupted child care support" by unifying the contact point for children of school age from infants. As a result of the institutional reform, the situation in which individual children are placed can be grasped more as a whole, leading to detailed support. It is important to examine and change what needs to be changed in the future.

(About the after-school elementary school student custody system)

・ Except for those who are currently involved in raising children, there are some aspects that have not been fully communicated to the community about the types and differences of the system to keep elementary school student after school, such as the “Hamako Fureai School”, “After School Kids Club” and “After-School Care Program Clubs” (Schoolchildren's Day Care). In order to obtain local understanding and support regarding child care, we would like you to occasionally work on providing information.

3 Life Support Division

(About the independence support system for the poor in life)

・ The "Independence Support System for the Independence of the Living Needs" was launched in 2015. In a situation where welfare payments are increasing year by year, and the chain of poverty is regarded as a problem, support before the social security, such as securing housing, working, rebuilding households, and supporting children, will become increasingly important. Cooperation with related organizations is indispensable for supporting the independence of the poor in life, so it is necessary to build a sufficient cooperation system so that systematic efforts can be made.

(About welfare system and general support)

・ Regarding the welfare system, I was able to obtain the necessary knowledge for promoting local activities, such as conditions, amount of payment, flow from consultation to start of protection, and the concept of dependents. . The welfare system is an application principle and the system is complicated, so it is necessary for residents to understand it correctly. In addition, in order to gain the understanding and cooperation of the region, we would like you to occasionally provide information on the system to the region.

[Comments by Chairman Kitahara]

Regarding the work of the three sections subject to the hearing, despite many national policy elements, explanations were given from the inhabitant's perspective, and accountability as a local government was fulfilled.
