About distribution of sandbags

Kanazawa Public Works Office distributes sandbags to prevent water flow from roads and river waterways as an emergency aid to ordinary households.

Distribution location: Public Works Office Kanazawa (1-9-26 Teramae, Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama) ※We will not deliver.
Distribution target: General households in Kanazawa Ward

Distribution volume: Up to 5 bags per household.

※If you can pack sand at our office, it will cost about 20 kg per bag, so please come by car etc.

Date and time of distribution: In case of emergency (such as heavy rain warning in Yokohama City), we will respond as needed.

※In principle, please take measures in advance by yourself. If you are unable to take measures in advance for any reason, please consult Kanazawa Public Works Office.

Distribution in Public Works Office is only an auxiliary one. In principle, please prepare the necessary sandbags in each household.

We do not deliver to each household. It will be delivered at Kanazawa Public Works Office.

It is also possible to fill sandbags in Public Works Office Kanazawa.
The sandbag for packing sand is about 20 kg per bag. In that case, please come by private car etc.

Please keep and dispose of the sandbags after use by yourself.
