What is road self-financing construction?

When person except road manager performs construction about road, we must receive approval of road manager (road law Article 24 (outside site)).

• Sidewalks, L-shaped gutters, curbs devaluation work for vehicles entering parking lots, etc.
• Relocation or removal of car stops and tree-planting basins for vehicles entering parking lots, etc.
• Relocation of curved mirrors, street trees, etc. (telephone poles are permitted by NTT, telephone poles are permitted by Tokyo Electric Power Company)
• Devaluation work for setting designated roads
• Repair and restoration of damaged pavement
• Road maintenance associated with development and residential land development
• In addition, when making changes to road structures
• Construction loading road (when the sidewalk is cut down and used as a construction vehicle approach road for construction)

In making application, please confirm "guide of road self-financing construction".

• Guide map (specify the location with a copy of a house map, etc.)
• Floor plan (illustrates the construction site and details of the construction so that the entire site can be understood)

L-shaped gutters, U-shaped gutters, asphalt concrete pavement, ground boundary blocks, etc.

※Please submit one copy of enforcement approval application such as road construction, two copies of other attached books.

• The standard processing period is 30 days from the submission of the application form to the issuance of the approval form.
• About construction on road, it is necessary to receive "road use permission" from police chief in charge other than approval by road manager.
• After the completion inspection, the facility will be handed over to the road manager (attribution) and will be managed by the road manager. However, if there is a defect in the construction, the applicant must repair the defective facility and compensate for any damage to a third party. The defect security period is one year from the date of issuance of the pass notification.
• Please note that if you do not submit a notification of completion, the applicant will continue to manage it.
