Kanazawa Ward conducted a “Kanazawa Resident Awareness Survey” in fiscal 2011 to provide basic information for providing administrative services tailored to the needs of residents and promoting community development projects in order to create a more livable Kanazawa Ward.
The survey results report can be viewed on this page, viewed at Public Relations Section, 1st floor, 1st floor, 1st floor, 3rd floor, Planning and Adjustment Section, and viewed and rented at Kanazawa Library.

- 1,906 valid collections, recovery rate 63.5%

This feature-a town that is livable and has continued to live-
- Evaluate the environment and natural environment of residential areas.
90% of the people who feel "living" (38.0%) and "well livable" (52.0%) about the place where they live now are at a high level of 90% of the total. The most common reasons were "environment of residential areas themselves" (53.0%), "natural environment" (49.2%), and "convenience of transportation from home to the nearest station" (47.2%). - 74.8%
Regarding whether to continue living in the current location, 34.1% said that "I will continue to live", 40.7% said "I will continue to live", and 74.8% intention to settle. We exceeded 67% of Yokohama public awareness survey in 2011. - The most important measures we want to focus on are disaster prevention and disaster countermeasures.
The most common measure that we want the government to focus on is "disaster prevention and disaster countermeasures", and more than half of the respondents chose (52.8% of the questions that select the top three places). Next, “Services for the Elderly and Disabled” (50.4%) followed by “anti-crime program Measures” (33.1%). In a survey two years ago, "Disaster Prevention and Disaster Countermeasures", ranked third, ranked first. - What is particularly worrisome in the event of a major earthquake is the suspension of public utilities
The top three items of concern in the event of a major earthquake were "stoppage of water and electricity, etc. in public utilities" (69.0%), "safety of family and acquaintances" (57.3%), and "securing food and daily necessities" (34.5%). - I'm worried about my illness or old age.
The top three concerns and concerns about yourself and your family's life are "My illness and retirement" (50.7%), "Family health and living problems" (45.6%), "Economic and living expenses" (36.9%). This ranking is consistent with the results of the 2011 Yokohama Public Awareness Survey.
