People with Down syndrome who attended a facility for people with intellectual disabilities were unable to work as instructed due to their slow movement. And because I was continuously instructed by specific staff, I became depressed and became unable to go to school. The mother had doubts and angers about the policy of the facility and appealed to the coordinating body, but with a disappointing answer, it did not lead to guidance on the facility. In the end, I couldn't go to the facility and went to other facilities, but it took a lot of time and spent a hard time.
There are many cases in which physical and intellectual disabilities are forced to retire due to bullying by ununderstand bosses and colleagues. People with relatively mild disabilities work proud to be able to work, so if they have to retire from a general company, they will not be able to immediately switch to services at facilities for the disabled. Above all, it hurts deeply. This is happening even in employment after finding a disability, even in facilities that should be specialized facilities.
