Last updated on February 8, 2021.

  • All cases received do not correspond to "disability discrimination". In addition, we have not confirmed whether the contents are true.
  • Information on names of individuals, facilities, etc. is excluded from the published content.
  • A detailed explanation of long-term cases and the situation will be provided with a summary.

Details of the case

Regarding the system number of the route bus, there are shades in the presence or absence of grant, the basic concept, and the degree of operation method depending on the business operator, and it is difficult for people with disabilities to understand. In addition to being unable to intuitively judge when people with intellectual disabilities get on the bus alone, some businesses omit the information on the timetable and the system number guided by the destination display of the car body in the car broadcast. It cannot be used for visually impaired people because they cannot learn the route with a system number or receive information.

Regarding the case, what I wanted to do and what I thought would be better.

Work to assign user-oriented system numbers across the boundaries of businesses. In addition, based on the purpose of the numbering, provide guidance without omission.
