Ensure the reliability of food hygiene inspection facilities, etc.
In order to ensure the reliability of inspections related to food hygiene in Yokohama City, we carry out the following duties.
Internal inspection
We check the management status of inspections and other operations from a third-party standpoint with the inspection department in charge of food inspection (Hygiene Laboratory, Home Food Sanitation Laboratory and Meat Sanitation Laboratory) and the removal department (Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division in 18 wards and the Food Sanitation Division in Medical Care Bureau, which is responsible for the removal of food from stores for inspection, etc. free of charge).
External Quality Management Survey
Each inspection department carries out administrative procedures, etc. to properly receive external quality control surveys conducted by the Food and Drug Safety Center.
Internal accuracy management
We summarize and evaluate data such as additive recovery tests and reproducibility tests (physicochemical tests), bacteria identification tests, and bacteria count measurement tests (microbial tests) conducted in each inspection department.
Ensuring the reliability of testing pathogens in testing facilities
In order to ensure the reliability of pathogen testing, etc., we carry out the following tasks:
Internal Audit
Check the management status of tests and other tasks with the testing department (Hygiene Institute) responsible for testing samples of patients with infectious diseases or pathogens for infectious diseases.
External Quality Management Survey
Each inspection department participates in precision management surveys recognized by the national government and other countries.
Accuracy Management
We confirm that reliability tests are being conducted in each inspection department.
