What is Over Dors?
Over-Dors is the act of ingesting a drug in excess without observing the usage and dosage. It is sometimes abbreviated as OD. Drugs include prescription drugs at medical institutions, over-the-counter drugs that can be purchased at pharmacies and drugstores, but over-Dors tend to be more common in over-the-counter drugs in recent years.
The number of emergency transports suspected to be caused by over Dors is increasing year by year, and it has become a social problem, such as spreading to young people in their teens and twenties.
What happens if I don't use drugs properly?
Pharmaceuticals must be used based on the instructions and explanations of doctors, pharmacists, and registered sellers. In addition, clear rules are set for the handling, purpose and method of use, so if used other than that, it will be abused. Drugs are used to treat diseases, but not only their effects but also side effects are always present. If used beyond the original usage / dosage, the "harm" part of the medicine will increase, and in the worst case, death may occur. Also, if you continue to use it in a situation that is not the original usage, it may become addiction.
Are over-the-counter drugs also dangerous?
Over-the-counter drugs can be easily obtained at pharmacies and drugstores, and some of them may be used for over-Dors. However, over-the-counter drugs contain a variety of ingredients, and over-Dors can cause some of them to exceed lethality. In addition, the complex effects of various components can make it difficult to treat poisoning symptoms, which is extremely dangerous. It is even more dangerous to drink mixed with a drink that contains a lot of caffeine.
Does medicine become addiction?
Some over-the-counter medicines, such as coughing, contain components that are easily dependent. Also, if you drink a large amount, you may feel better or calm down. For this reason, it may be used repeatedly and become addiction.
For prescription drugs such as sleeping pills, taking a large amount of self-judgment may cause side effects or addiction.
Drugs are not illegal even if abused, so they are often used casually. However, if you continue, the abuse of medicines alone will gradually become unsatisfactory, and you may reach out to illegal drugs such as cannabis in search of stronger things.
Protect your dosages and use them appropriately.
