An increase in the number of elderly people aged 75 and over means an increase in the number of people in need of medical care. In particular, Yokohama City is assumed to be more prominent than other cities.

Many people are not interested in medical care, saying, "I'm fine now because I'm healthy," except when I actually need medical care, but requests in municipal administration as a whole are always high.

In fact, medical care may not be known unexpectedly, such as what role the hospital has. Improvement of such “health literacy” is now required nationwide.

Information about medical care is not transmitted even if it is sent unilaterally.

Yokohama City will collaborate with private companies and universities to develop an approach to make people aware of the familiar “medical perspective”.
