About the Radiation Control Headquarters
History of the establishment of the headquarters
Following the accident at the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, the disaster headquarters Department of Radiation Control in Yokohama City continued to work on radiation control across stations, but even after the abolition of disaster headquarters in Yokohama City on March 27, 2012, the Yokohama City Radiation Control Headquarters was established on the same day with the aim of ensuring the safety and security of citizens and eliminating anxiety.
