I'm a foreign resident, but I'm going to move. What kind of procedure is required?

On July 9, 2012, the the Law of the Basic Resident Registers was revised to allow foreign residents to follow the same procedures as Japanese people.
The procedure must show a residence card or special permanent resident certificate, passport, and notification card.
If you move out of the city, you will need to submit a transfer notice.
