Koseki Castle Ruins Festival

The Koseki Castle Ruins Festival is designed to encourage residents to widely understand the origin and history of Koseki Castle, a historical asset in the city, and to promote the creation of an attractive city that combines "sports, health and welfare". It is held every spring with the aim of promoting local tourism.

※The warrior procession is from Sankaiji to Kozuki Tsuji

Departure time: 10:00 a.m. (light rain)
Route: Sankaiji Temple ~ Kozuki Tsuji
・The "Warriors Procession" starts at Sankai-ji Temple with the signal of Koseki Castle Ruins Fireworks, and parades to Kongoji while performing firing performances by gun squads at various places.
・There is a welcome performance by a brass band at the Kongoji parking lot on the way.
・At the final point, Koseki Castle Ruins Citizen's Forest, an annual “Departure Ceremony” will be held.
