International Understanding Class

International Understanding Instructor: IUI) is dispatched to all elementary schools in Yokohama City and special needs schools to conduct an "elementary school international understanding classroom" to learn foreign cultures in English. Develop elementary school studenｔ's internationality and foster a sense of symbiosis while incorporating experiential activities appropriate for the elementary school stage.
At Yokohama Municipal Junior High School, IUIs from different cultural spheres of about 5 to 6 students are dispatched to one class, divided into small groups, and each student is exposed to various cultures while communicating in English. We carry out program called "SEPro Global". Through this program, we will foster students' awareness of internationality and symbiosis, and foster communication skills in English.
