The "Kamigo Junior High School / Shodo Junior High School" Small School Countermeasures Exploratory Committee has been completed with the 5th Exploratory Committee held on December 12, 2013. .
At the 2nd regular meeting of City Counsil in 2014, the "Partial Revision of the Yokohama City School Ordinance" was voted on (June 3), and the school integration of Kamigo Junior High School and Shodo Junior High School was officially decided.
