Response to the Disability Discrimination Law in City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat

In response to the "Law Concerning the Elimination of Discrimination Due to Disability" (hereinafter referred to as the Disability Discrimination Elimination Law) enforced in April 2016, in Yokohama City, based on the Deputy Mayor's Order, We devised "approach guideline (H28.2 deputy mayor order notice) about promotion of cancellation of discrimination based on disability" and "the Yokohama-shi staff correspondence point (H28.3) about promotion of cancellation of cancellation of discrimination based on obstacle".

Based on the fact that elementary school studenｔ students with disabilities are enrolled in Yokohama City Schools, City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat has formulated the “Yokohama City School Teachers and Staff Guidelines for Promotion of Elimination of Discrimination Due to Disability (H28.4)” and established necessary items for appropriate response.
