This survey statistical document consists of "city school present situation", "local education expenses investigation" and "various statistical surveys". In the "City School Current Status" section, materials related to Motoichi are included in the 2007 School Basic Survey (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology). The “Local Education Expenses Survey” section contains a survey of local education expenses conducted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in the fiscal year 2006, which is an interim total at the city stage. (This figure will be finalized at a later date when announced by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.) In the "Various Statistical Surveys", it contains materials related to Motoichi in the commissioned survey from the country and prefecture conducted in this section in 2007 and the survey results of the city alone.
