Apply at the window of the financial institution

By Yokohama-shi city tax fund transfer, we can pay by automatic debit sequentially from account of designated financial institution on deadline day.

• Japan Post Bank (post office) nationwide
• Banks listed on the City of Yokohama, Office of Accounting page (payment of city taxes, national health insurance premiums, etc.)

• Municipal tax, prefectural tax, forest environmental tax (normal collection)
• Property tax and city planning tax (land and houses)
• Property tax (depreciable assets)

[Note] Fund transfer is not available at any time.

• At financial institutions in Yokohama City, each store has a "Yokohama City Tax Fund Transfer Request Form", so please apply directly at the counter of the financial institution.
• If you are using a financial institution store outside the city, please contact the Finance Bureau Tax Payment Management Section, order a request form in advance, and apply at the financial institution window.

• Account information (passbook, cash card, etc.)
• Notification seal
• Tax Payment Notice

You can select the transfer method at the time of application.

• Transfer of each term (transfer of tax amount by period on the due date of each delivery date)
• Transfer in advance for all terms (transfer annual tax amount on the date of the first payment deadline)

If you do not meet the application deadline, please pay with the payment slip.

• If your application is not in time for your desired delivery date, we will start fund transfer from the next delivery date. If you apply for "All payments in advance", you will be transferred by "Each payment" during the fiscal year, and will be transferred by "All payments in advance" from the following fiscal year.

The transfer date is the date of the due date of each delivery date. (If the deadline falls on a Saturday or holiday, it will be the next day.)

• When fund transfer procedure is completed, we mail "news about fund transfer tax payment of Yokohama-shi city tax". Please check the details of the fund transfer (transfer start year, debit account, etc.).

• We will not send you a receipt. Please confirm the results of the fund transfer by bankbook or other means.
• Please pay the amount equivalent to the tax amount by the day before the transfer date.
• If the transfer cannot be made due to insufficient balance, etc., re-transfer will not be performed. Please pay with the payment slip that arrives after the transfer date.

• For property tax (land / house), the owner code changes when the owner or co-owner is changed due to inheritance etc. In that case, you need to re-apply to continue fund transfer.
• If you want to change a registered financial institution, branch, account number, account holder, etc., you need to apply again. Please confirm that you want to change your transfer account.
