Notice

The electronic magazine service has started!

This is a poster for public relations of electronic journal services.

From April 1, 2025, you will be able to read e-books within the e-book service.
You can browse more than 250 kinds of magazines of a wide range of genres, including weekly magazines, economy, travel, fashion, anime, etc.

It is a text version site of an e-book service that allows a series of operations using screen readers.

How to use it

Those who can use it

Those who live in Yokohama, commute to school, and have a valid user number for Yokohama City Library.

If you do not have a user number, you need to register for the library first.
It cannot be used with a user number for wide area use starting with 909.

If you are using a wide area, please check the e-book service of other local governments.

User ID: User number of Yokohama City Library
Password: Password registered on the online catalog page (external site)

※If you have not registered your password on the online catalog page, please register and use it.
　For details on password registration, please refer to the link below.
　If the user number is invalid, such as when the expiration date has expired, you will not be able to register a password or use the e-book service.
　If you are unable to register your password, please contact the nearest City Library office or telephone to check your registration information.

※If you log in on the online catalog page, you can use the e-book without having to log in again using the e-book service.
※With the update of the library information system, the passwords of the e-book service and the library information system have been unified.

Lending, Returning, Reservation

You can borrow up to 2 points for 2 weeks. When the return deadline comes, it will be returned automatically. If you do not finish reading in two weeks, you can extend the loan period only once if you have not made a reservation.
If the book you want to read is on loan, you can make reservations up to 2 points. (We do not accept requests for e-books that do not have a collection.)

What is an e-book service?

The e-book service is a service that allows you to borrow and return e-books using a PC, smartphone, or tablet connected to the Internet. You can enjoy reading anytime, anywhere, 24 hours a day. (except during maintenance)
Please note that the use of the e-book service is free, but the communication fee will be borne by the user.
This service is provided by Library Distribution Center Co., Ltd. based on a service usage contract with Yokohama City. The domain of this service is d-library.jp. (Consulted in accordance with Article 6, Paragraph 4 of the Yokohama City Internet Receiving Guidelines)
