1813-1879

I was born in the Netherlands on April 21, 1813. In 1852, the year before the arrival of Perry Uraga, he was appointed as Director Dutch trading post Nagasaki. The letter of the governor of Higashi India Company in the Netherlands was submitted to Nagasaki magistrate (Bugyo), and Perry's arrival (Raiko) It is famous for letting the Shogunate know.

The Dutch trading post is the Japan branch of the East India Company, and is the contact point for foreign trade in Japan under the Sakoku system, and the Dutch trading post of the Shogunate.
