What does a story-telling volunteer do?
Meeting, picture book selection
- Bring the book you want to read, adjust the genre so that it is not biased, put in books on seasons and events, and discuss within the group. Finally, consult with your librarian to determine the program.
Practice rehearsal
- Read it out loudly to check the actual flow.
Program creation
We will create a program to be distributed after the talk session.
Holding a talk session
- We will read picture books, guide visitors, and share roles within the group.
Retrospective of the story-telling party
- We look back on the children's reactions and whether the book we chose was of age, and refer to future activities.
