Tsurumi Rinko Railway
The predecessor of the Tsurumi Line was a private railway called Tsurumi Rinko Railway Co., Ltd.
In July 1924, seven people, including Soichiro Asano, Heisaburo Okawa and Motojiro Shiraishi, were launched as transportation to landfills.
In 1926, between Hamakawasaki and Bentenbashi Bridge and between Shiraishi and Okawa opened, and between Anzen and Petroleum (Hama Anzen) opened in April.
In 1928, the first phase of the project was completed with the opening of the line connecting Hamakawasaki and Ogicho. Following the second phase of the project, the entire Ogicho opened from Tsurumi in February 1934.
In November 1940, the cargo line of Umishibaura was opened from Shinshibaura, and the current line was finally completed.
In 1943, it was acquired by the Japanese National Railways during the war and became the Tsurumi Line, and the company is currently engaged mainly in real estate leasing.
