Books and Culture of Yokohama

Edited with the theme of "Yokohama's cultural magazine spoken by publications". From the time of Yokohamamura to the present day, 134 items in four fields: "Publishing", "Reading Culture", "Foreign Culture", and "Library".
Yokohama Books and Culture Separate Volumes

It consists of four parts: "person", "inventory", "library statistics", and "materials". Contains materials that could not be included in "Yokohama's Books and Culture".
100 years of turbulence

Contains a total of 180 illustrations, focusing on photos received from citizens. "Honmaki" when the sea was the center of daily activities, and valuable photographs of the fisheries and festivals at that time. Along with the illustrations, a chronology related to "Honmaki" and a list of images related to "Honmaki" recorded in various materials are included in the material section.
Yokohama's Memory Vol.1、2、3、4、5、6・7、8

Municipal Central Library will use Yokohama's materials as a Yokohama's Memory instrument to highlight the transition and growth process of Yokohama.
- Focusing on Vol.1 "Hon-cho Dori Avenue", "Yoshidabashi Bridge", "Noge Iseyama" and "Kaigan Dori", the late Tokugawa shogunate and early Meiji eras are reproduced by Yokohama Ukiyo-e and the late Meiji eras and early Taisho eras.
- Vol.2 The streets of Hon-cho Dori Avenue, Yoshidabashi Bridge, Noge Iseyama and Kaigan Dori will be introduced using postcards, photographs and illustrations of the damage situation in the wake of the Great Kanto Earthquake on September 1, 1923, and Yokohama in the early Showa era.
- With the theme of Vol.3 "Children in Yokohama", we pick up images from Yokohama Ukiyo-e, Yokohama postcards, Yokohama photographs, Sensha bills, trademarks, etc.
- Under the theme of Vol.4 "Yokohama in 1860", we will introduce landscape paintings depicting Yokohama the year after the opening of the port like a panoramic photo.
- Vol.5 This section introduces a part of Noge's multi-published "Tomi Ozaki's Job".
- Vol.6 and 7 "Drawing Tokaido" Kanagawa / Hodogaya / Tozuka "" will be introduced.
- Vol.8 "Let's see this vibrancy! Introducing the symbol of Yokohama, Isezakicho.
