Ring Route 3 (Hinominami / Koyamadai area) was a section that was provisionally maintained in 1969, and was used in provisional two lanes with a median strip.
In recent years, the maintenance of the entire Ring Route 3 has progressed, and the front and rear sections have four lanes, but the Hinominami and Koyamadai districts, which are used in two lanes, have become bottlenecks that hinder traffic flow, causing traffic congestion. Was. To this end, we are promoting a four-lane project aimed at facilitating traffic flow.
On March 24, 2022, we started operation with four lanes.

Traffic safety measures A large walking space is secured by changing the sidewalk that has become narrow due to continuous planting to a single tree planting. Replant street trees and increase the distance between tree planting to improve visibility. By installing a crossing prevention fence in the center of the roadway, pedestrian crossing will be prevented. We will reduce the steps between the sidewalk and the roadway, and promote barrier-free that is friendly to pedestrians. Reduction of load on road environment By reducing traffic congestion due to the shift to four lanes, CO2 emissions along the road can be reduced. By making the roadway low-noise pavement, noise during vehicle driving is reduced.
