Cut (prun) the branches and leaves of trees overhanging the sidewalk from the private area.
Last updated on November 13, 2023.
As it is a personal property, it cannot be pruned in the city.
Also, if there is a problem with road traffic, the Public Works Office of each ward will ask the owner to prun.
Overhanging branches on city roads has hindered the passage of pedestrians and vehicles, and there have been cases where signs and curve mirrors cannot be seen.
Tree owners may be held liable if any of these causes damage to pedestrians or vehicles.
If trees protrude on the road, please manage the trees properly, such as cutting and pruning trees.
