Eliminate the steps between the sidewalk and the road.
Last updated on November 8, 2024.
For wheelchair users and those pushing strollers, it is desirable that the steps be as close to "zero" as possible, but visually impaired people can feel this 2 cm step on the back of a white cane or shoes. By doing so, it distinguishes the sidewalk from the road. It also has a function to prevent drainage from entering the sidewalk. This 2cm step is determined by hearing the opinions of both visually impaired people and wheelchair users.
