Where should I request the installation of street lights?

Street lights installed on general roads in Yokohama City include "road lights", "security lights", "shopping street lights", etc. depending on their purpose.

Road lights are installed by road managers, security lights are installed by Civic Affairs Bureau, and store street lights are installed by local stores.

About setting of street light, please request "road lighting" from Public Works Office of each ward of Yokohama-shi which is road manager and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. In addition, Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations will collect requests for installation of security lights and apply to each ward office, so please contact your local Neighborhood Association or Neighborhood Associations.
