How do you dispose of tree branches and cut grass that came out of pruning street trees? How do you recycle it?
Tree branches and cut grass are brought to the Green Recycling Plant (Green Environment Bureau's composting facility) in Yokohama Animal Forest Park in Asahi Ward, and private recycling facilities.
The Green Recycling Plant produces compost by crushing wood finely and fermenting it. The compost we make is used for greening work such as parks and street trees, and is sold to the general public.
