Q3 I'd like to know about the soil quality.
Q4 Is it possible to judge the softness of the ground using the soil column diagram?
Q5 Is there a book that contains soil data in Yokohama City?
It shows the condition of the soil layer at that point. It is created based on the layer thickness, depth, soil type, soil name, color tone, N value (value indicating soil hardness), etc. of the soil from the ground surface to the destination obtained from the geological survey.
Please see the explanation page (PDF: 182KB) of the soil column diagram.
Please refer to "Technical Data" (outside site) of the National Land Technology Research Center website for soil quality.
The soil column diagram shows the condition of the soil layer at the survey site. If you decide in detail, it is necessary to conduct a boring survey individually.
You can read "Yokohama City Ground Environment Survey Report", "Yokohama City Ground Map Collection" and "Yokohama City Soft Ground Formation Survey Report" in Chuo-toshokan.
