About infant traffic safety education visit guidance

In order to protect infants from traffic accidents, infant traffic safety education instructors visit the garden and provide guidance on correct crossing methods of roads.
In teaching, puppet dolls and panel theaters are used to make the content easy for infants to understand.
Visiting guidance is intended for kindergartens (including certified children's schools) in Yokohama City where more than 10 infants (3, 4, 5 years old), licensed nursery schools and Yokohama nursery rooms.

Papet instruction

・Story of traffic safety using puppets ("Rule-chan" or "Mamoru-kun") and panel theater
・Screening of traffic safety animation DVDs (limited to gardens with screening equipment)
・Practice crossing pedestrian crossings as "mini pre-school guidance" for older children (only gardens with hope)

Preschool guidance

・Guidance will be provided for older children who are about to enter elementary school (younger and middle class cannot participate)
・Screening of Road Safety Anime DVD
・Crossing practice using crossing mats and traffic lights

Traffic safety classes for infant parents

・The staff of this section visits and performs traffic safety classes for parents.
・Lectures will be given using PowerPoint on the characteristics of children's accidents, precautions for safety, and points for safe use of bicycles with infants. We will provide guidance and requests to parents from the standpoint of the Yokohama City staff regarding traffic rules that are troublesome in the garden.

About infant traffic safety education video

In Yokohama City, we are working on traffic safety education using videos.
Contents become basic traffic rules such as how to walk on the road and promise of the road.
It is a short compilation that is easy to use during gaps, and can be used happily at events and childcare visits.
If you would like to receive a DVD version, please contact us by phone.
(You will have to pay the shipping fee.)

About recruitment of traffic safety classroom for protector

Apart from infant guidance, we also conduct traffic safety classes for parents.

(You can apply from April, Reiwa 7 to March, Reiwa 8.)
