About leased land park system

The leased land park system is a system in which Yokohama City, the park manager, rents the title related to land properties under a lease agreement with the landowner to open the city park for the maintenance of parks and green spaces stipulated in the City Parks Law.
In Yokohama City, we will utilize this system to secure land such as block parks. I would like cooperation to create imminent park in life of citizen's all of you.

City Parks Law

For land that meets the following conditions, we will conclude a lease agreement for leased land park.

1. The land area is more than 500 square meters. However, this does not apply if it is adjacent to a park already open to the public.
2. Those with a loan agreement of 20 years or more.

1. Property tax and city planning tax on contracted land will be reduced.
2. Inheritance tax will be reduced by 40% due to taxation. However, land with an area of less than 500 m2 is not eligible.
