“Support System and Procedures”

For those who are interested in volunteering to create forests, we hold hands-on sessions where you can experience volunteering. Experience sessions include beginner, practice, and continuation according to the experience level of forest creation activities.

Beginner: It is intended for those who are registered as volunteers for forest creation for the first time and those who have inexperienced about once or twice in experience sessions.
Practical edition: It is intended for those who participate in the introductory course for forest creation volunteers and registered as forest creation volunteers.
Continuation: It is intended for those who have participated in the forest creation volunteer experience meeting. Through activities four times a year, we aim to improve understanding of forests and improve skills in forest creation activities.

■Main activities
evergreen cutting and thinning, mowing, bamboo thinning, fallen leaves, plant surveys and observation, etc.

This is an initiative to connect people who want to volunteer with a forest creation activity group working in Yokohama City. This system allows individual forest creation volunteer registrants in Yokohama City to help with forest creation activities when they need help in forest creation activities, such as wanting a forest creation organization to help with the work or need human resources. Individual volunteers can participate in activities of interest at various activity sites.

In forests in the city, such as citizens' forests and city park, forest-building organizations are engaged in various activities with the consent of landowners and the approval of managers.
There are various organizations in Yokohama City, such as large-scale organizations and recently started activities. There are a wide variety of things, such as somen sinking and lease making.
