Measures against sediment runoff from farmland (during heavy rain or typhoon)

Last updated on August 28, 2024.

In farmland, in city, we support setting of earth and sand runoff prevention fence or distribution of sandbag in place where earth and sand runoff occurred in the past or place where there is a possibility of occurrence. With the cooperation of farmers, sediment runoff from farmland during heavy rains is on a downward trend.
However, it is necessary to continue to take measures to prevent damage caused by heavy rains and typhoons that exceed expectations. In order to prevent sediment runoff damage, please take the following precautions.

※It will be a guide for farmers. For inquiries from the general public, please contact each ward office where you live.
