conservation Mizuta Activity Encouragement Project

This project is a system that rents paddy fields in the city and pays incentives under certain conditions for those who cultivate paddy rice based on the "Yokohama Green Up Plan".

Purpose of the System

In Yokohama-shi, we utilize Yokohama green tax as a part of financial resources and promote "Yokohama green up plan" to stop green decrease and pass on "green town Yokohama" to the next generation I am. Based on this plan, in order to preserve paddy fields with various functions such as the formation of a good agricultural landscape, the conservation of biodiversity, and the storage and recharge of rainwater, we will implement the Paddy Field conservation Activity Encouragement Project, which provides incentives to those who are renting paddy fields and cultivating paddy rice.

Overview of System

Target person

Those who rent paddy fields in Yokohama City and cultivate paddy rice, who intend to grow rice for the next 10 years and fall under any of the following

(1) Setting of lease right or use lease right by promotion plan such as farmland use accumulation based on law Article 18 Clause 1 about promotion of farmland middle management business
  Those who have received conservation activities in the area
(2) Those who have been licensed by the Agricultural Committee for leasing and renting paddy fields based on Article 3 of the Agricultural Land Law, those who are engaged in conservation activities in the relevant area
(3) Lease right or use lease right corresponding to Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions and Article 9 of the Supplementary Provisions and Article 10 of the Supplementary Provisions, which partially revises the Agricultural Management Infrastructure Reinforcement Promotion Act, etc.
  Those who have been set up for conservation activities
(4) Those who borrow and preserve farmland according to Article 4 of the Act on Facilitation of Lease and Lease of Urban Farmland

Conditions for granting incentives

Paddy rice was planted in paddy fields

Amount of incentive

30 yen per square meter of paddy field where paddy rice is planted (for example, 30,000 yen for paddy field of 10a)
※Fractions less than 1 m2 will be rounded down.

Others

  • Please manage the paddy fields well.
  • If paddy field cultivation cannot be continued for some reason, please consult with the agricultural administration office immediately. .
