Overview of the locally grown and consumed Business Creation Support Project

Based on the Yokohama Green Up Plan, Yokohama City has implemented the locally grown and consumed Business Creation Support Project, which aims to support businesses seeking to develop businesses that contribute to the locally grown and consumed by utilizing agricultural and livestock products produced in the city. This project consists of two programs: training and assistance.

This project aims to support businesses that seek to engage in sustainable and vibrant locally grown and consumed business in Yokohama.

Business Flow

What is the difference?

The “Fostering Program” is a program aimed at the growth of businesses and strengthening business plans. The target is small and medium-sized enterprises, non-profit corporations, and new founders who intend to utilize local agricultural and livestock products to develop businesses that contribute to the promotion of locally grown and consumed activities in Yokohama.

  • We are looking for a sustainable locally grown and consumed business plan.
  • We will hold a “training course” to strengthen the applied business plan and improve feasibility. You can take courses to help you bring your business plan closer to realization.
  • A total of five courses will enhance the feasibility of the business plan and support the actual implementation of the business.
  • A selection round-table conference will be held after all courses are completed. At the selection round-table conference, you will be asked to announce your business plan in a presentation format.
  • Evaluate the content of the presentation at the selection round-table conference and select a business plan to be subsidized.

For more information, see the documentation.

What is "Auxiliary Program"?

"Auxiliary program" is a program implemented for businesses selected for assistance.

  • For business plan targeted for assistance, we assist a part of expense required for business start (50% of target expense, there is rule of upper limit). Note: The grant will be received after the project is implemented.
  • For three years after the start of the business, you can submit a business progress report and receive advice on management as necessary.
  • In order to receive the auxiliary program, it is necessary to attend the "training course" held in the "training program".

For more information, see the documentation.

Personal Information, Information Disclosure, etc.

  • Personal information obtained from the application documents will be used for office work such as selection and contacting the person. In addition, except as permitted by law, we will not use it for any purpose other than the above without your consent.
  • The company receiving the subsidy will publish the name of the company and the outline of the business through the Environmental Planning Bureau website.
