Expansion of designated areas such as urban renewal emergency development areas in central Yokohama and coastal areas

Cabinet decision on area change of "urban regeneration emergency maintenance area" and "specific city regeneration emergency maintenance area" based on the Act on Special Measures for Urban Regeneration was approved by the Cabinet, and designated areas in central Yokohama and coastal areas were expanded.
By expanding the designated areas, we can expect to increase the willingness of private businesses to develop and invest in the development of urban coastal areas, such as development projects in Kannai and Kangai-District, and to strongly promote infrastructure development.
