Specified Urban Renewal Emergency Development Area

On January 20, 2012, the existing "Yokohama Station Area" and "Yokohama Minato Mirai Area" were integrated with the "Specific Urban Renewal Emergency Development Area" established to strengthen the international competitiveness of the city. The "Yokohama Central / Seaside Area", which has expanded the Kitanakadori area, has been designated as a specific urban regeneration emergency maintenance area.
With regional designation, development can be carried out while taking advantage of benefits such as tax incentives, financial support, and deregulation. (There are conditions)

• Efforts for Urban Renewal in Yokohama City (Planning Division HP)

•Income taxes and income taxes: 50% extra amortization of buildings that have been maintained for 5 years
•Registration and license tax: 0.4% → 0.2%
•Real estate acquisition tax: Tax standard 3/5 deduction
•Property tax and city planning tax: 5-year tax standard 3/5 deduction
※The applicable condition is to be certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of the Private Urban Renewal Project Plan.
