Town development in the Hazawa district

In the Hazawa area, a new station on the Kanagawa Eastern Area Line will be developed, which will improve the convenience of transportation and living in the surrounding area. On the other hand, the local living environment may change due to various developments, a decrease in the natural environment such as green spaces and farmland, and a decrease in the safety of the district.
Therefore, residents around the new station (Kanagawa Ward and Hodogaya Ward) established the Hazawa Station Area Community Development Council to organize and examine the current issues and problems in the area and the expected issues associated with the establishment of the new station.

In response to a proposal from the council, we have recently formulated the "Hazawa Station Area Town Development Guidelines", which will be the policy of town development around the new station.
In the future, we will share these guidelines with you as a guideline for community development activities in the business area of Motoichi and land use by businesses, and change the situation of the district and changes in socio-economic conditions due to the establishment of new stations and the maintenance of surrounding roads, etc. We will utilize it for town development in this district while flexibly responding to changes.
