At today's plenary session in City Counsil, we explained the basic policy of municipal administration and the outline of the budget plan in proposing the 2022 budget and related bills. We are now in an important phase of our long fight against COVID-19, facing each other based on the characteristics of the virus and opening up a new future. At this turning point, I will not be afraid of various social issues, but will look at the brilliant future of Yokohama and boldly take on challenges. Our mission is to further enhance the appeal of Yokohama and create Yokohama, which is chosen by many people. And while aiming for sustainable municipal administration management, we support safe, reliable living of citizens well and open up the future of Yokohama. We will listen carefully to the voices of the citizens, conduct sincere discussions with the people of City Counsil under the dual representation system, and fulfill our mission together with our staff.
