At the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) to be held in Japan in 2025, we held a general meeting of the Council to invite Yokohama and gave a speech as Chairman.
In Yokohama City, the African Development Conference has been held three times so far, and every time it has been repeated, the bonds with Africa are deepened, and many citizens who have interacted with each other are familiar with African culture. At the council, I shared my thoughts with the committee members on serving as host cities again and contributing to economic revitalization in Kanagawa and Yokohama and strengthening relations with Africa.　
In order to realize the 9th meeting in Yokohama, we will work together with related organizations and related organizations in Kanagawa Prefecture and Yokohama City to work in All Yokohama.
